Marathon Reading Series

In 2010 we began a series of public readings of important Canadian literature. Over fifty people read from George Bowering’s GG award winning novel Burning Water during a 12 hour period on Granville Street in downtown Vancouver on 30 July. On 31 October, in partnership with the Heart of the City Festival, over forty people read from Paul Yee’s Saltwater City: An Illustrated History of the Chinese in Vancouver. We look forward to producing additional marathon readings.
